For the Head of Programme Management, Regeneration and Economic Development to:
Approve extension of contract with Maddison Graphic, to cover added costs for outstanding expenses for printing as part of the Shaping Tottenham document. The contract extension is up to a maximum value of £323 this an increase to the original contract value of £9,999 (4400020445). The overall contract value will be £10,322.00.

The request for the extension is pay the designers’ added costs for outstanding expenses for external printing.
The supplier has used their existing arrangement with external printers to ensure best value, while at the same time taking the responsibility of quality assurance and ensuring a high quality is delivered to the council.

Option 1 - ‘Do Nothing’
This option was rejected because printed copies of the Shaping Tottenham document are required for promotion and engagement purposes.

Option 2 – Running a competitive tender
This option was discounted because it would result in higher costs for the council, cause delays to publication of the Shaping Tottenham document and launch of the vision. It would place responsibility for printing the document with the council. A remit the council from any recourse on the designer for printing errors, which result from preparation of the document.
