In accordance with Contract Standing Orders
8.01 and 8.02, the Head of Programme Management, Regeneration and
Economic Development, is requested to approve under their delegated
authority, the award of a contract to Enfield Council for outline
planning application fees in the value of:
£1,156.00
Reasons for the decision:
SUV Phase 1 planning application 3 for outline
planning consent for a future sports hall is required to meet the
Levelling Up Fund bid requirement to provide a new sports hall and
to comply the agreement with the Selby Trust to make a provision
for a future sports hall, should funding become available within
one year of grant of outline consent.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative option would be to not obtain
outline planning consent for the future sports hall, but this is
not recommended as it would put the Council in breach of its
agreement with the Selby Trust and potentially the terms of the
MHCLG LUF grant conditions.
