For the Head of Programme Management,
Regeneration & Economic Development to award a contract to
Engineers HRW for the value of £5,000.00, in line with CSO
8.02.
Reasons for the decision:
This work contract will support the
continuation of the development of Café Roj.
HRW are a specialist structural and civil engineering consultancy
company that offer services to a wide range of construction
projects.
A brief was sent to the consultant structural engineers detailing
the services required. The expected work is due to complete by 16th
June 2022. The consultant will (1) provide support to the Client
team for Building Control conditions and approvals, (2) facilitate
site inspections, (3) offer on-going technical advice and guidance
throughout the construction phase.
Alternative options considered:
Do nothing: this will delay the construction
of the Cafe. HRW have the skills and experience to support the Cafe
through the construction phase, ensuring this work continues.
