the quoted sum of £14,149 which includes a contingency sum of
£1,415 and contract period of 6 weeks.
2) Approves the total project fees of £3,481.
3) Notes the total project cost of £17,630.
Reasons for the decision:
Approval of the tender is required to
allow
essential internal and external structural works, including
refurbishment works to 55L Salisbury Road works to start on site.
Arlington Builders Ltd have submitted the most economically
advantageous tender.
Alternative options considered:
Haringey Council has responsibility for
maintaining the structural integrity of its housing
stock under the Housing Acts. The option of not
undertaking these repairs would leave the
Council open to legal challenge and future
disrepair claims.
