It is recommended that the Director of
Housing, Regeneration and Planning approves the award of a contract
to Madlins LLP as allowed under CSO 9.07.1c (Bid Acceptance and
Contract Award) in the sum of £441,717 excluding VAT to
provide Cost Consultancy/ Quantity Surveyors, Employers Agent,
Clerk of Works, and Principal Designer (CDM) services on the Ashley
Road Depot housing delivery project.
To progress the scheme by appointing a Cost
Consultancy/ Quantity Surveyors, Employers Agent, Clerk of Works,
and Principal Designer (CDM) services on the Ashley Road Depot
housing delivery project.
The Council could have procured these services
separately but this could have delayed the programme and created
other issues Ie Scope gaps etc.
