For the Head of Programme Management to award a contract to Morgan Law to supply Agency Worker services to cover the Regeneration Communications Officer for the Regeneration and Economic Development department at Haringey Council. The sum of the contract is £9,999.00

A Regeneration Communications Officer is required immediately to support the RED Communications team by: (i) supporting the effective promotion and successful delivery of the council’s regeneration programmes through first-class communication campaigns; (ii) ensuring residents, stakeholders, staff and current or potential investors are effectively communicated to, consulted, engaged and motivated; and (iii) supporting the Regeneration Communications Manager by actively leading on components of the programme including; community engagement, community events and digital media.

The Local Government Resourcing Partnership (LGRP) Framework has been used to procure the services in line with council policy.

Do not award a contract to provide resource to cover the role – this would create a gap for the RED department on the activities listed above which are required to support programme delivery at a critical point.

To contract via regular recruitment processes e.g. a Fixed Term contract – this was not viable as the post was needed to be in place with urgency and for a short-term period. Candidates had been sought via Hays but none were identified hence the use of the LGRP.
