That the Assistant Director for Housing:

1) Approves the award of contract to The Revival Company Ltd. for
the sum of £46,308.14.
2) Approves the total project fees of £2,600.
3) Notes the total project cost of £48,908.14.
4) Approves the waiver of CSO 10.01.2 (d) (ii) as only two
quotations were required by the loss adjusters.
Approval of the quotation is required to allow
essential urgent drying out works to be carried out by specialist
contractors: The Revival Company Ltd.
Haringey Council has responsibility for
maintaining the structural integrity of its housing
stock under the Housing Acts. The option of not
undertaking these repairs would leave the
Council open to legal challenge and future
disrepair claims because a ‘Certificate of Dryness’ is
required by the Council’s and Leaseholder’s Insurance
companies.
