For the Assistant Director for Housing to
award the Contract for the ‘Reynardson Court’ design
commission to ‘Haworth Tompkins’ for design consultancy
services up to RIBA Stage 2+. The sum of the Contract is
£141,222
To appoint a high quality multi-disciplinary
design team to deliver the maximum number of Council rented homes
on the Council owned site. The project will contribute positively
to the regeneration of Tottenham, improving the image and
perception of the High Road, generating increased footfall, and
delivering a more attractive and vibrant town centre.
An alternative option would be not to proceed
with the commission, but this not recommended as this would not
support the agreed objectives of maximising the site’s use,
delivering new Council homes and contributing to the physical,
social and economic regeneration of the area.
