Director Housing to award a contract under Contract Standing Order
(CSO) 9.07.1c to Miller Partnership Architects to provide
architectural services for the Ivatt Way site for a fix fee of
£67,760.00.
The Council requires the services of an
architectural practice to take these sites from RIBA Stage 1 to
3.
One option considered was to appoint the
consultancy via a framework. This was deemed not suitable as the
value of the contract was going to be considerably under the OJEU
threshold. Further, the Architectural practices listed on these
frameworks were not suitably sized to have an interest in small
site schemes, and this would have led to an uncompetitive tender
process.
