Decision:
The Director of Housing, Regeneration and
Planning approves entering into a grant agreement with the Trampery
for the sum of £350,000 in line with the recommendation in
the Cabinet Report dated 22nd January 2019, following consultation
with the Cabinet Member for Strategic Regeneration and the Director
of Finance.
Reasons for the decision:
In January 2019 Cabinet approved a
recommendation to give delegated authority to the Director of
Housing, Regeneration and Planning, after consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Strategic Regeneration and the Director of
Finance, to approve the Good Growth Fund grant agreement with the
GLA and other agreements related to third party organisations to
deliver the ETHR programme.
LBH and the GLA entered into the ETHR GGF grant agreement on 31st
March 2019.
Officers including Corporate Legal Services and Regeneration have
now completed the third party grant agreement which is ready to be
issued to the Trampery for signing.
Alternative options considered:
The alternative option would be to go back to
cabinet in February 2020 with the grant agreement, which would
delay the project.
