For the Assistant Director of Regeneration
to
approve the implementation of Contract Standing
Order 9.07.1c. and award a contract for Wood Green Design Guide and
Public Realm Interventions to Muf Architecture / ART LLP for a
period of 1st October 2018 to 31st March 2020 for the value of
£150,000.
An Invitiation to Tender Process was carried
out by
Strategic Procurement in line with the council’s
Contract Standing Orders.
The Invitation to Tender attracted three high quality
tenders from architectural teams via the GLA’s
Architecture, Design and Urbanism Panel (ADUP)
framework. Muf Architecture / ART LLP scored the
highest overall with 85%. The award is based on
the Most Economically Advantageous Tender
(MEAT) ie mixture of price and quality.
The alternative option would have been not
to
appoint Muf Architecture / ART LLP, however this
would have sereverly impacted on project outputs
and programme delivery for the Good Growth Fund.
