For the Assistant Director to award the contract to ‘Muf’ in the sum of £60,600.00 (sixty thousand and six hundred pounds) to design and deliver the improvement project to Riba stage 6.

To undertake improvement works to the protected open space, known as Page Green Common. The project will deliver an integrated, inclusive and attractive environment, which encourages more positive use of the historically significant site.

The alternative option would be to deliver smaller scale improvements using the internal parks team. However, a decision was made that a larger intervention would be required to have a significant impact on the local environment.
Another option would be to not proceed with the commission, and to leave the green space in its current condition. This would fail to meet the ambitions of the High Road Strategy and the wider Regeneration programme.
