Approval to uplift the contract with S.W.Bruce
& Co Ltd by the sum of £16,800, under Contract Standing
Order (CSO} 10.02.1 (a}
Following a competitive tendering exercise,
approval was given to award an adaptations contract to S.W.Bruce
& Co Ltd in the maxi- mum sum of £240,360 which includes
a contingency of £31,351.
The contract needs to be formally amended
in retrospect to provide for the additional
work undertaken by the Contractor at the
request of the Council which is in excess of the original maximum
sum. The value of the additional work is £16,800 which has
been agreed with the Contractor.
