Following a competitive tendering exercise,
approval was given to award an adaptations contract to Richwell
Construction Ltd in the maximum sum of £251,184 which
includes a contingency of £41,864.
The contract needs to be formally amended in retrospect to provide
for the additional work undertaken by the Contractor at the request
of the Council which is in excess of the original maximum sum. The
value of the additional work is £18,960 which has been agreed
with the Contractor.
