Approval to uplift the contract with Diamond
Build Plc by the sum of £42,720, under Contract Standing
Order (CSO) 10.02.1 (a)
Following a competitive tendering exercise,
approval was given to award an adaptations contract to Diamond
Build Plc in the maximum sum of £222,903 which includes a
contingency of £29,074.
The contract needs to be formally amended in retrospect to provide
for the additional work undertaken by the Contractor at the request
of the Council which is in excess of the original maximum sum. The
value of the additional work is £42,720 which has been agreed
with the Contractor.
