To approve the extension of contract to
Ambition 24 to provide Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants
for Nursing Care provision at Osborne Grove Nursing Home following
CQC Inspection.
Osborne Grove Nursing Home (regulated
activity) has entered into an agreement with Ambition 24 for the
purpose of providing Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants
to provide clinical care.
Following the CQC inspections at Osborne Grove Nursing Home, it has
been determined that additional nursing resource for both direct
care and clinical oversight is required.
There is a high demand for registered nursing in the market place
and have explored providers.
Hays Recruitment have not been able to supply
suitable resources of an appropriate skill set in sufficient and
timely supply. In addition, we have approached Whittington Hospital
for support from their Nurse bank but this has also been
unsuccessful. Alternative contracts have been established but there
has been a requirement to extend the number of agencies that are
able to provide suitably qualified professionals.
