We the undersigned petition the council to For the introduction of a Controlled Parking Zone for Woodfield Way, Bounds Green, N11.

Woodfield Way, N11. is currently on the edge of 2 other CPZ areas, namely Gordon Road and Durnsford Road.

Over the years we have seen a significant increase in parking traffic in the road from commuters, holiday parking, residents from the above mentioned roads avoiding paying for their own CPZ and more recently commercial vehicles using the road as a car park.

This has often left residents, their families and visitors and trades people with nowhere to park within the street.

During the summer months in particular, we can have vehicles abandoned for weeks, whilst their owners are away on holiday.

We have also had issues with vehicles being parked across residents driveways, along with vehicles being hidden in the road because they are not taxed or MOT'd.

As a result, a number of residents of Woodfield Way have felt it was time that the CPZ was introduced to the road.

It is our understanding that as Woodfield Way is already on the edge of 2 CPZ areas, we would qualify for the zone being introduced within 9 months rather than the normal 18 months.
