in the same way we buy visitor parking permits.
• Continue to the use the plastic hessian green-waste
bags.
• Residents can put out as many bags of green waste as they
want, attaching a seal to the handle of each bag.
• Veolia only empty bags with tags attached and remove the
tags after emptying the bag.
• Residents can buy extra bags or tags when they need
them.
• This reuses existing bags, is cheaper, easier, is more
environment-friendly as it doesn’t use huge amounts of
plastics and doesn’t clutter gardens and the streetscape with
more bins.
• It will still keep the accountants happy!
