To meet TSRGD 2016 regulations and Department
for Transport (DFT) guidance for disabled parking places and
dedicated disabled parking places to measure a minimum of 6.6
metres in length
Alternative options considered:
A “Do Nothing” approach was
considered but not recommended as it would not allow all existing
bays to conform to the minimum lengths of 6.6m specified by
Department for Transport (DfT)
