For the Head of Programme Management to award
the Contract for the ‘551B High Road’ EA/QS commission
to ‘Bristow Johnson’ for consultancy services up to
RIBA Stage 7. The sum of the Contract is £56,721.00
(Fifty-six thousand, seven hundred and twenty-one pounds).
To appoint a high quality, experienced
consultant to support delivery of the project to extend the
underutilised Council building into a commercial and community
asset that will contribute positively to the regeneration of
Tottenham.
The decision is being taken to allow progression of the 551B High
Road project to meet GLA funding timescales for the
‘Enterprising Tottenham High Road’ programme.
An alternative option would be not to proceed
with the commission, but this not recommended as this would not
support the agreed objectives of maximising the building’s
use and contributing to the physical, social and economic
regeneration of the area.
