Approval for the variation of a contract for the Housing Infill Programme project with Keegans Limited as allowed under CSO 10.02.1(a) (Variations and Extensions)

Reasons for the decision:

To extend the contract to meet increased construction costs and costs incurred due to prolongation of the construction programme

This variation is being carried out under Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 which allows for a contract to be modified in certain cases where the in crease in price exceeds 50% of the value of the original contract and where the additional services have become necessary and were not included in the original procurement where a change of consultant cannot be made for economic or technical reasons, and would cause significant inconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the contracting authority
