Additional Information
From 1991-2001 I was Environment Officer for Haringey Council. In 2002, I
was elected as a Lib Dem Councillor for Highgate.
I have been in involved in local community groups for a long time. I am a
member of about 25 organisations in the fields of environment and human
rights. I have been active in the New River Action Group over 18 years,
campaigning successfully for the retention of the river (which Thames
Water had proposed to close), and the opening to the public of the New
River Path I have been a member of the Hornsey Conservation Area Advisory
Committee for many years and was its Chair I was a founding member in 1996
of the Tree Trust for Haringey, and remain active in it.
