I have been married for 46 years and have four children. I have lived in Haringey since 1978.
Since I was a child my ambition was to become a selfless politician in line with my family tradition. At University I studied Political Science, History & English Literature and completed my Degree in those subjects. I also obtained a Master of Arts in History.
I have worked in various Banks for twenty-one years and obtained several banking qualifications. I also worked for London Underground for eleven years.
I have been a Councillor for West Green Ward since 1994.
I am aware of the issues of my ward as well as the Council. My vision and strategy is to make the Council more accountable, fairer, safer and cleaner. I am working to raise the level of employment in Haringey and make Haringey services better value for money. My goal is to see Haringey achieving best beacon status.
I represent everybody equally and fairly and work hard to ensure Equal Opportunities for all.
