Aims
- To work toward the elimination of racial discrimination.
- To promote equality of opportunity and goods relations between persons of different racial groups, especially in the Borough of Haringey.
- To encourage and support equality, diversity and understanding between people of different backgrounds with the aim of eliminating discrimination and hate crimes

Responsibilities of individual Board Members:
Seek to promote the objectives of the Company and not the interests of any one group or members;
Fulfil his/her share of responsibility for:
- Implementing the Company’s policies and work programme
- The employment , management and support of staff
- The financial affairs of the Company
Participate actively in meetings of the Executive Committee; and
Undertake such training that may be required by the Company
Legal responsibilities of members:
Members need to show attention to legal matters affecting the company and its people
Any training required:
All members are inducted. No CRB checks required
Other information:
LBH members on the board serve as observers/representatives of LBH. They do not have voting rights
