Haringey's comments on the Mayor's Draft Upper Lee Valley Opportunity Area Planning Framework

The Upper Lee Valley is one of the opportunity areas identified in the London Plan and the Mayor has been working with key stakeholders to produce a planning framework as a supplementary planning document (SPD) which will provide guidance to the future development, regeneration and investment in the Upper Lee Valley corridor. The area runs from north Enfield to Haringey/Hackney boundary and from River Lee to A1010 corridor. The reports sets out Haringey’s comments on the draft document.

Consultation process

In developing the draft Opportunity Area Framework for the Upper Lee Valley, the Greater London Authority liaised with key stakeholders such as Lee Valley Regional Park and the boroughs which make up the Upper Valley including Enfield, Haringey, Waltham Forest and Hackney. The draft OAPF will be open to public consultation in early summer.
