Framework Agreement for Replacement of Communal Aerials with Integrated Reception System IRS (digital TV)

Communal Aerials upgrade to Integrated Reception System for Residents to receive digital TV  The analogue signal will be switched off in 2012, without the upgrade  to digital residents will have no TV  reception after 2012.

Consultation process

The programme has been developed by Homes for Haringey in consultation with residents and key stakeholders Qualifying Long Term Agreements (QLTA) have been issued to Leaseholders Borough wide  June 2008 &  July 2009.  Resident  consultation input both tenant & leaseholder via members of the Procurement & Repairs Panel.

SLT date: Haringey is one of the most ethnically diverse boroughs in England and it is proposed that the upgrade to digital TV will enable residents to access not only mainstream UK channels but also ethnic channels that reflect their diverse cultures and languages spoken. e.g. Access to Sky Plus, Hotbird, & Turksat.
