ISSUES RAISED DURING THE FORUM To take forward any issues raised during the Area Forum. Minutes: The Committee noted the discussions that had taken place during the forum and identified the following actions:
Finsbury Park Councillor Arthur agreed to talk with the Cabinet Member for Environment with regards to the Council providing transparency in terms of financial information. It was noted however that there would be limitations in terms of what information could be in the public domain, for example due to commercial sensitivity, but where this was the case an explanation would be provided as to why the information could not be shared. ACTION: Councillor Arthur.
An update on the next Finsbury Park Stakeholder Group meeting would be provided for the next forum. ACTION: Clerk / Chair
Veolia Further information was required with regard to the contract with Veolia – what services the public should and shouldn’t expect, and when the current contract was due to expire. It would also be useful to hear some ‘good news stories’, rather than just complaints.
It would be useful to have a timetable for the bin collection audit. ACTION: Councillor McNamara |
