The Committee noted that the following points, requiring actions to be taken forward, had been raised during the Area Forum:

Finsbury Park event consultation

The Chair to request information on the financial charges levy on operators running events in the park, particularly evidence that the amount charged was at a commercial level, and comparable with parks of the same size.

Notes to be taken forward:

·               Officers should be requested to stay for the whole meeting, particularly when they have attended for consultation items, to allow residents to speak with them after the agenda item has finished.

·               There had not been any items at the past area forums where Cabinet Members had attended – where relevant, Cabinet Members should be invited to attend.

·               It was suggested that the Chief Executive could be invited to a future meeting for ‘question and answer’ item.
