Agenda items proposed included the issue of illegal dumping in Noel Park, parking enforcement on Council housing estates managed by Homes for Haringey, an update on future plans for the regeneration of Alexandra Palace and concerns raised regarding the management of void Council properties, particularly their condition at relet. A future update was also requested on the impact of the government’s welfare reforms on the borough including the benefits cap and changes to Housing Benefit.

Minutes:
The next meeting was scheduled for 6 January. The Committee agreed that this should be rescheduled if possible due to the proximity to the festive period and moved to later in the month to maximise attendance. If possible, a venue in Bounds Green ward should be used.
Agenda items suggested during the Forum included the management of Japanese knotweed within the borough including the role of the Council, an update on Haringey Heartland, the potential for a busker zone on the High Street and an update on work being undertaken by the Council to engage with young people. Members agreed that a short briefing could be provided at the next meeting updating on Alexandra Palace masterplanning and Haringey Heartlands.
It was noted that Cllr Ejiofor had requested to attend the next meeting to discuss two key planning policy reports including Tottenham Area Action Plans and Site Allocations Development Planning Document.

Minutes:
The next meeting was scheduled for 17 October and would be held in Woodside ward. The Civic Centre was proposed as a venue.
In relation to agenda items, it was agreed that future updates should be provided on Alexandra Palace, Haringey Heartlands and Japanese knotweed problems within the borough. It was suggested that a presentation be given to a future Forum meeting on the Council’s social housing register to increase awareness of the banding system etc.

The next meeting was scheduled for 24 June. It was agreed that the venue should be in Noel Park ward.

Minutes:
The next meeting was scheduled for 18 April and would be held in Bounds Green ward. A number of agenda items had been proposed during the Forum for this meeting including the hours of operation of the Wood Green Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and background details on how the hours had been set and the process for seeking any amendment. Feedback was also requested to be provided on the costs to the Council of running the Noel Park week of action and the number of fixed penalty notices issued.
Issues had also been raised regarding the diagonal pedestrian crossing opposite the underground station in Wood Green and the potential for installation of a countdown display to improve safety for people crossing. Confirmation was provided that a request had been submitted to Transport for London (TfL) to fund this and which had subsequently been shortlisted by TfL inline with a review of the timings of the lights at the junction. It was requested that an update be provided at the next meeting on progress. An update was also requested to the April meeting on the Watson’s Road traffic issue.

Minutes:
The next meeting was scheduled for 29 January 2013 and would be held in Woodside ward if possible, with Winkfield Road Resource Centre proposed as a venue. The last meeting of the municipal year in April would then be held in Bounds Green ward.
A number of agenda items had been proposed for the next meeting during the Forum part of the evening including an update on Pinkham Way and a consultation session on the budget from the Cabinet Member for Finance and Carbon Reduction. A query was also raised about the process for the development of neighbourhood plans and establishing a forum for the area and it was agreed that information on how residents could get involved in this would be circulated with the minutes. A discussion was also requested at a future meeting on the hours of operation of the Wood Green Controlled Parking Zone.
The Committee agreed that it would be useful to invite the Safer Neighbourhood teams in the area to attend future meetings, with rotational attendance from the different ward teams at each meeting to provide an overall update for the whole area.

The next meeting was scheduled for 15 October and would be held if possible at a venue in Noel Park ward. As discussed at the last meeting, the October meeting would be on the topic of Wood Green regeneration and as such, it was suggested that Wood Green library might be an appropriate venue.
